Extreme Electric, Inc. is a mid-size electrical contractor in the Greater Nashville area. We concentrate on making sure our relationships with our partners prove to be exceptional, consistent and trustworthy. We value honesty and integrity so that we can provide the utmost excellent service to you and your company.

Extreme Electric, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Linda Raley. With her husband Jeff Raley by her side as a Senior Estimator, they have successfully grown as one of the leading electrical contractors in Nashville. Their combined experience has helped with the continued growth and success of Extreme Electric, Inc.

In 2019, Josh Warner became a shareholder in the business and shared the ownership responsibilities with Linda Raley. Josh, the ambitious person that he is, took over full ownership of Extreme Electric, Inc in 2020. Josh comes with over 25 years experience in the electrical field and has picked up the business knowledge in the office faster than most. Josh balances the field guys, getting bids out, and working with the finances of the company. Linda & Jeff couldn't be more proud and excited to hand the torch over to Josh!

During this pandemic, many companies have unfortunately had to shut down because of Covid-19. However, Extreme Electric, Inc. has made it a point to keep our guys working and thankfully we were considered essential workers. During this time, we have made it a point to keep PPE available to all our employees out in the field as well as in the office. With everyone working together, making sure they wear their mask, and staying 6-feet apart, we have managed to keep the contracted cases of Coronavirus to a very, very minimum. We are very proud of our team and strive to keep a safe working environment. During that time, no one was laid off.

Extreme Electric, Inc. holds an Unlimited State of Tennessee Contractors License along with a State of Tennessee Electrical License. We also have multiple city and county licenses throughout the state of Tennessee. Extreme Electric, Inc. has grown at a rapid pace over the last couple of years and has kept their A+ Rating with the BBB.

Extreme Electric, Inc. has an amazing core group of electricians, some have been with us for more than 10 years. We provide and maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, which is an essential part of our growing business. Extreme Electric, Inc. provides advancement opportunities for our staff through on-the-job training as well as formal schooling at IEC Middle TN. We hire Journeyman Electricians, apprentices, and helpers for both contract work and the always growing service department. We guide our employees through their career to help them become the utmost confident and excellent journeymen, superintendents, project managers and estimators.

At Extreme Electric, Inc. we take safety very seriously. We have a safety handbook outlined to provide our employees with the tools necessary to maintain a safe work environment. We expect our employees to adhere to all safety rules in order to keep each job site safe. We require and maintain weekly tool box topic meetings on all job sites along with vehicle inspection reports for all of our trucks.

Josh Warner - President & CEO

Josh Warner brings more than 25 years experience as an electrician to Extreme Electric, Inc. Josh has been with Extreme Electric, Inc since 2012. He is a licensed master electrician in the State of Tennessee, along with the State of Michigan. Josh also is the Qualifying Agent for Extreme Electric, Inc. and also holds the Business Law License for the State of Tennessee. Josh wears many hats, as most owners do. He is an estimator, a project manager, a mentor, an ear to listen to when someone needs to talk and one who is always willing to help whether it is at the office, on the job site or just out and about. At times it is know for him to show up on a jobsite with his tools in hand just to make sure he still has it. Josh stays very busy with making sure all our projects are safe, our General Contracts & Owners are satisfied with the workmanship and costs, along with making sure our employees and other trades we are working around are all getting along.

Outside work, Josh is a newly wed husband to his wife Kate. They dated 2 years before he decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. She has a son Lucas who is now 5 that he gets the honor of helping raise alongside her while hoping to one day have one of their own. Josh enjoys going out on his 4 seater Can Am or taking his boat out - depending on the season. He takes his boat out on various lakes across the mid-west, south and sometimes the Atlantic Ocean. He also is an avid sports fan and outdoorsman. He likes the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators and trys to get to any game he can. If you know Josh, you know he has a big heart and loves his little dog Miken. Miken is a yorkie-poo born in 2012 that has been to a lot of jobs sites over the years with him.

Gary Baum, Vice President

Gary Baum brings more than 31 years experience as an Electrician to Extreme Electric, Inc. Gary has been with Extreme Electric, Inc. since 2008. He holds a Master's Electrical License for the Extreme Electric, Inc. and also has a Master's in Michigan, Kentucky, and Alabama. Gary is our Superintendent Manager for the company and works alongside our field guys to ensure our jobs are completed timely and look the best they can. You can find Gary in the office working on take-offs and change orders but also enjoys working with his tools. Gary brings a lot of code knowledge to our team!

Outside work, Gary enjoys hunting and shooting. Gary has been married to his wife Angela for more than 20 years and they love to take family trips together with their daughter, Alyssa. Alyssa recently started college in Ohio at the University of Dayton. Gary enjoys taking road trips to visit and catch a football game at the school. Cruise trips are their favorite because Angela and Alyssa can enjoy being with Gary without his phone going crazy with calls from inspectors, our employees, and the office staff.
